Dreya Garcia was born in Medellin, Colombia. As a young child her mother noticed in her a natural talent for singing and music and enrolled her in the reputable creative arts elementary academy, Musicreando in Medellin. Her first music teachers there recognized her special voice and since then, Dreya has been pursuing her passion as a Soprano. During her formative years she also continued to expand her musical palette, learning the clarinet, oboe and piano. In 2020, she graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelors of Music, with an emphasis on Voice Performance. She has had the pleasure of performing in various professional productions and projects. Dreya lavishes in the art of Opera and considers it the epitome of what the human voice can accomplish and strives to bring young audiences to this art form and vice versa. Opera, music, and live performance are her lifelong passions.
